SPACE BRIDGE

Interactive Visual System

Permanent Public Installation at Suncheon Bay National Garden, Suncheon, Korea Renovation of the existing "Dream Bridge"

A full multimedia renovation of the aging "Dream Bridge" — a container-based structure over ten years old — rebuilt into "SPACE BRIDGE." At 175 meters, Asia's longest walking-through attraction.

The space follows a short narrative: an extraterrestrial visitor lands at Suncheon Bay National Garden, recharges on its life energy, and departs. Three themes — Space, Water, and the Suncheon Bay Wetland — run through the interior in a mix of digital and analog.

The LED lighting animations were designed and programmed in TouchDesigner and MadMapper. Light sequences are mapped onto the bridge's structural surfaces and respond to visitor flow and the surrounding interactive elements.
