Lang Lee - 대화 (Conversation) from the album ‘늑대가 나타났다 (There is a Wolf)’ Music Video Installation

This project involved creating a unique light installation for the music video of Lang Lee’s song “Conversation.” The core concept was to visually translate the song’s distinct vocal layers into a dynamic light performance.

To achieve this, the individual vocal tracks from the song were first isolated. Then, unique bulb animation sequences were meticulously designed for each separated track, reflecting its specific rhythm, melody, and emotional tone.

These individual light animations were then layered and played back simultaneously, synchronizing with the music. The result was a ‘light acapella’ – a complex interplay of illumination where the bulbs visually echoed the structure and nuances of the vocal arrangement, adding a tangible, synesthetic dimension to the music video’s narrative and atmosphere.
