Ceiling Service vol.4
As part of the Night on Earth series, ceiling service ran at Futura Seoul on November 30 and December 1.

The event centered on live audio-visual performances — experimental musicians generating soundscapes in real time while visual artists translated them, also in real time, into projected visuals. The aim was a direct sensory space, something separate from daily routines.
"ceiling service" comes from a Dutch expression for 'the time spent lying awake in bed, unable to sleep.'

A dedicated 20-minute piece was built in collaboration with sooom (Joon Kwak). Taking sooom's dense, detailed sound as direct input, Jaeyoung Shin shaped and manipulated visuals live. The visuals were designed to feel like a first-person journey through a virtual space, tightly synchronized so the audience could move through the sound as a landscape.
